Practice that lasts, a Book that teaches, and claims that hold
v0.0.23Finished quizzes are kept and can be reopened, practice draws can target what you have not seen or got wrong, and the Book now teaches each FE Civil area.
2026/10/06
Shipped
- Your practice history is kept. Every finished quiz can be reopened from History with your picks, the key and the worked solutions — after the tab is long gone. A "Missed only" filter skips the ones you got right.
- Save a question to come back to, and practise your saved questions as a set of their own.
- Choose what a practice set draws from: anything, question types new to you, or — on Exam Sprint and Complete — the types your latest answer missed.
- A benchmark holds the key until the end, as the practice picker always said it did.
- The Book teaches FE Civil. Each knowledge area has its own chapter, and every unit ends with a quiz on that area.
- Time sinks are drilled. A question you spent more than five minutes on joins your review queue even when you got it right.
- Question reports are worked. Reports reach a review queue, confirmed defects are published on the errata page with their dates, and the fix date is recorded when it ships.
Corrected
- Authored ethics and concept items no longer always put the answer in A; the key is dealt round all four positions, and past answers are still graded against the order they were shown in.
- Practice answers are graded against the choices that were on screen, so a later change to a question cannot turn a right answer wrong in your history.
- The pricing page now promises exactly what each plan's checkout charges for.
- New accounts are no longer added to the mailing list; product email is opt-in from Settings, and the privacy policy says so.
- The homepage mockup no longer shows a handbook page number we cannot verify, and the FAQ describes where each question's source comes from accurately.
- A price change can no longer revoke access, or the Retake Rescue guarantee, for anybody who bought before it.
Study groups, achievements, and a plan that listens
v0.0.22Groups and achievements went from placeholders to working features, and onboarding's answers now change the plan they said they would.
2026/09/30
Shipped
- Study groups are real. Create one, share its invite code, and see each member's readiness and streak on the group board.
- Achievements are earned, not handed out. The page used to show the same six badges to everybody, three already "earned". They now come from your own attempts, streak and mock history — and from the exam result, which you can now record.
- Onboarding changes your plan. How much time you have a day and how many weeks you have left now shape the study plan, as the questions said they would — and the plan says so when it needs more time than you have.
- Worked examples on the knowledge-area pages, and a straight answer on where the official handbook PDF comes from.
Corrected
- Every edge control that navigates is now a single link, so keyboard users meet one tab stop per control, and a build check keeps it that way.
- The structural engineering area page is now linked from the handbook page, so it can be found and crawled.
Honest claims, and a funnel we can read
v0.0.21Every journey is now walked end to end by a test, and the marketing claims that could not be backed were removed rather than softened.
2026/09/19
Shipped
- End-to-end coverage of every journey, from the free mock through booking, the study loop, checkout and the retake claim.
- 42 question templates that had silently stopped being drawn are back in the rotation.
- The paid promises are reachable, and the guarantee is verifiable from the page that makes it.
- The funnel is measured — and the events fired before the analytics script loaded are no longer dropped without a trace.
Corrected
- Dropped the Product structured data. It advertised an aggregate rating for a product that has no reviews.
- The public report page no longer prints wording a stranger chose.
- Pricing tiers can be read across as a comparison table rather than three separate lists.
- The site name is back in the auth page titles.
Seven disciplines, one catalogue
v0.0.15The site stopped assuming FE Civil was the only exam, without pretending the other six banks exist yet.
2026/09/08
Shipped
- An exam catalogue with its own routes, an exam switcher inside the study app, and a disciplines grid on the landing page.
- FE Civil moved to
/fe/civil, with a stage-level hub at/feand inbound links from the footer, so the exam pages are reachable by a reader rather than only by a crawler. - A candidate can see and cancel a booked mock sitting, and give up a paper already in progress.
- Retake Rescue claims have a queue an admin can actually work.
- A question we have since admitted was broken can be flagged, so a paper that contained it says so.
Corrected
- Only the discipline whose bank is written is offered for sale. The other six are listed as what they are.
- Stopped serving FE Civil's study guide under another discipline's name, and stopped publishing that guide four times over.
- The plan row no longer undersells the free tier.
The study loop
v0.0.1.0What happens between mocks — a plan built from your own exam date, and a review queue built from your own mistakes.
2026/09/07
Shipped
- Answers are kept, so progress is measured rather than remembered, and a chapter shows how far through it you are.
- A review queue built from your own mistakes, rather than a deck somebody else decided you should see.
- A study plan built from your own exam date, not a generic eight-week course.
- A timed Handbook lookup drill — practice at finding the right section, which is the skill the exam viewer actually tests.
- Retake Rescue: import an NCEES diagnostic report and get a rebuild order from it. Built for the case where the first attempt has already been paid for and failed.
- Paid plans grant something concrete, and the free tier meters draws rather than answers, so a reload does not cost a question.
Corrected
- The question bank is no longer served, answer keys included, to callers who are not signed in.
- A quiz can no longer report itself as complete while signed out.
The free full-length mock
v0.0.0.1110 questions, 5 hours 20 minutes, two sections with the one-way submit and the scheduled break. No card.
2026/08/30
Shipped
- The full-length sitting — two sections on the real clock, with the end-of-section review screen before the one-way door, and the 25-minute scheduled break in between.
- An eight-question diagnostic that needs no account: one question per major knowledge area, and a result that lives in the URL rather than on our server.
- The FE Civil bank, complete against the published NCEES outline, with a figure on every item that would carry one in the real exam and a recorded source on every item.
- An errata page, and a way to report a bad question from inside the question itself.
- The guarantee, including the parts that limit it.
Corrected
- Removed the handbook citations the bank could not actually back, and pinned the handbook edition in one place so the badge and the questions cannot disagree.
- Stopped 43 templates being dropped from paper assembly in silence.
- Called the result a practice score rather than a prediction, and stopped the report advising anyone to reschedule a real exam.
